Innovations

Environments like schools or hospitals are amongst the most challenging places to design. Community facilities by their very nature are accessible, shared and open – the very antithesis of a secure, threat free environment. Our job is to intelligently reduce the risk in community facilities, whilst at the same time ensuring that they remain engaging, inclusive and easy to use spaces.

ASSA ABLOY’s design team can add real value to your scheme. Involve them right at the very outset and you will understand how an integrated approach to security can impact not only on mitigating risks, but also on how easy the building is to use and on cost and lifecycle. Here are some stories about how we do that.

Yet medical personnel must also have immediate access to facilities at all times.
