Stuttgart

Germany’s Stuttgart Airport services over nine million passengers on 60 different airlines each year. The airport first began working with ASSA ABLOY in 1977 after construction of their air cargo building.

ASSA ABLOY works closely with Stuttgart Airport who continuously orders cylinders for new doors and applications. Since their cooperation began, ASSA ABLOY has upgraded the airport’s mechanical locks to standardize various existing systems and to provide a single master key in case of emergencies.

Real Digital

Real Digital is a large commercial print press who produce confidential documents for the financial sector. Their clients choose them because of the high level of security within their premises. Every door includes a biometric access control reader both inside and out. The building operates twenty four hours a day seven days a week and includes offices, a restaurant, gym and staff accommodation. ASSA ABLOY specified a physical security system, incorporating electronic locks and steel door sets, that integrates with existing access control measures and complies with safety standards and legislation. Management of the project was also provided.

Hamburg Police Headquarters

The Hamburg Police headquarters in Germany has saved money and hassle by installing an electronic CLIQ lock system in its buildings. Even though the initial cost of CLIQ was more than a mechanical lock system, the cost of maintaining it has been less, and the savings was recouped in the first two years of operation.
